Meet Dr. Lenny

The person behind LK Fitness & Therapy

I’m Dr. Leonid “Lenny” Klichinsky, PT, DPT. I built LK Fitness & Therapy around something simple: people deserve knowledgeable care that is personal, encouraging and practical for real life.

Dr. Lenny Klichinsky of LK Fitness & Therapy

Physical therapist. Trainer. Movement enthusiast.

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2012 after completing my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology there in 2009. My background in fitness began long before physical therapy, and movement and exercise have remained a major part of both my professional work and my own life.

That combination shapes the way I work today. I enjoy solving movement problems, but I also want sessions to feel positive and worthwhile. Whether we are working through pain, rebuilding mobility, improving balance or developing a fitness routine, the goal is not simply to “get through therapy.” It is to help you do more of what matters to you.

A little more about me

Martial arts

I hold a Shodan black belt in JKA karate. Martial arts taught me patience, consistency and respect for the process of learning movement.

Fitness is part of my life

I still train regularly myself. I know what it feels like to work toward strength, mobility and fitness goals—not just teach them.

Outside & growing things

At home, I enjoy growing berries, grapes, figs and fruit trees. My backyard “food forest” is an ongoing project and a good excuse to stay active outdoors.

Music & energy

I enjoy EDM and dance music. I like energy and movement, and I bring some of that upbeat spirit into sessions when it fits the person I’m working with.

Family and community matter to me

I’m a husband and dad, and LK Fitness & Therapy is a local, owner-operated practice. I live in the same community where I care for many of my clients. That personal connection is one reason I value long-term relationships, word-of-mouth trust and treating people the way I would want someone to treat my own family.

Why I chose mobile care

The home tells me things a clinic cannot. I can see the stairs you actually use, the chair you need to get out of, the space where you exercise and the routines that matter in your day. Bringing one-on-one care to you also removes the commute and gives us time to focus without a busy clinic around us.

For some clients, our work begins with physical therapy and later evolves into fitness or wellness. Others simply want expert, personal exercise guidance from the start. I like being able to meet people where they are and help them keep moving forward.
